We Have Liftoff

Five years after having the idea for Gone Dogs, last weekend we celebrated it as a real, tangible thing with a bonafide launch party.

Hosted at Moxie Mercantile in our hometown of Charlotte, we piggybacked on Moxie’s 4th anniversary day to celebrate our book. And dogs.

It was a postcard autumn day with high blue skies and cool temperatures. We started our event with a meet-and-greet and plenty of books on display. We then had five of the authors in our book read their amazing stories. Afterward, we did some signings, mingled with friends, and met some dogs.

After five years of learning and growing, we were so happy to finally give our book the launch it deserves.

Thanks to Michelle and Clifton at Moxie. Your friendship means the world.

Special thanks to co-authors Judy Goldman, Elizabeth Richardson, Alexis Carreiro, Marisa Rosenfeld, and Tony Tallent who shared their beautiful stories with us.

And thanks to everyone who stopped by to celebrate. We look forward to doing more live readings soon.
