“Some people are born to think about money,” Mitchem says as we chat over coffee in the Charlotte neighborhood his family has called home since 2001. “I’m born to think about dogs.”

It was an honor to meet and hang with Gretchen Voth, a Charlotte writer and dog lover who recently launched the website DOG•CLT, which “Aims to do one thing really well: create helpful, local, fun content for Charlotte dog owners.”
