Moxie Day
We are excited to announce a partnership with Moxie Mercantile for the upcoming Midwood Market event on Sunday, September 17. During the event, Moxie and other retailers will donate a percentage of their day’s sales to our project. How cool is that?
We couldn’t be any prouder for our book to be aligned with Moxie.
Michelle Castelloe and her family have been friends of ours for a long time. When she and her husband opened Moxie Mercantile in 2015, we all knew it would be a smashing success. And boy is it. Moxie is one of those shops that you simply must visit—it’s eclectic, rustic, dog-friendly, and, well, cool. Here’s the positioning statement on their site:
Moxie aims to bring a sophisticated blend of home and personal accessories to the Queen City. Products are based in elements of nature with a focus on touch of hand. Handmade leather goods from Utah, hand-poured soy candles from Indiana, hand-hammered jewelry from Boston, and handcrafted linen bags from Brooklyn, all paired with lots of wonderful Fair Trade commodities from Africa, supporting women and children. Product lines range from tabletop to purses, jewelry to bath linens.
So swing by Moxie soon to put your wish list together, and circle your calendar to clean them out of inventory on September 17 when Commonwealth Ave is closed for Midwood Market. And then take pride in knowing your purchase that day will help make Gone Dogs a reality.
